5 February 2013: The Committee took evidence from Sandra Whyte and Lorraine Cleaver.The Committee agreed to write to the Scottish Government, the General Medical Council, the Royal College of Physicians, Thyroid UK, the World Health Organization, the Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network, Dr Stefan Sjöberg at Karolinska Institutet, Sweden and Dr Henry Lindner, Pennsylvania, USA. 





Next stage:- Our Petition PE01463 is provisionally scheduled to be considered by The Scottish Parliament Petitions Committee on 16th April. All responses will be considered by the committee and a decision will be taken by it on what action to take (e.g. continue to take forward, refer to a subject committee, close).

This week, the three of us started receiving from parliament the responses from the organisations the committee agreed to write to, following the meeting on 5th Feb. We then have to respond with our comments by the 5th April.
